Saturday Work Project

We were lucky enough to get all six of the guys (the Utah guys) here for a Saturday work day! They swept off all the loose roofing, tar papered and shingled the east side, cleaned off the west side and tar papered that - before it started to snow.

Jackson and Kendrick helped to knock down the remainer of the fence that the wind took out last fall - and they spent quite a bit of time stacking the wood. Tyler also showed up and stacked wood for a while.

Jack enjoyed working with "the boys" again. He said he hadn't done that for a long time - probably since the days of the home building! Thanks, John, Gus, Jeff, Bryan, Mike and Justin!

The job's not finished yet, but Gus called around 6:00 Saturday night asking, "When is the next party?" I have no doubt - it will get done!

We appreciate all the help we get from our children and grandchildren. They are GREAT!

What a blessing to have them all over to help you! Way to go Gus for the great attitude!

That is neat! They sound like Jud and his dad. Projects like that really are a party to them.
I walked by your house just the other day and was wondering what had happened to your fence. That dang wind.

Justin enjoyed it, too. We was very cold and worn out, but had never roofed before and was glad he could help out and learn a little in the process. Thanks, too, for letting us crash there Friday night. The girls loved it! Are you planning on putting up a new fence? Just curious.
