Saturday Work Project

We were lucky enough to get all six of the guys (the Utah guys) here for a Saturday work day! They swept off all the loose roofing, tar papered and shingled the east side, cleaned off the west side and tar papered that - before it started to snow.

Jackson and Kendrick helped to knock down the remainer of the fence that the wind took out last fall - and they spent quite a bit of time stacking the wood. Tyler also showed up and stacked wood for a while.

Jack enjoyed working with "the boys" again. He said he hadn't done that for a long time - probably since the days of the home building! Thanks, John, Gus, Jeff, Bryan, Mike and Justin!

The job's not finished yet, but Gus called around 6:00 Saturday night asking, "When is the next party?" I have no doubt - it will get done!

We appreciate all the help we get from our children and grandchildren. They are GREAT!

Amberley's Piano Recital

Amberly did such a great job with her two songs. The teacher had instructed everyone to wait until after both songs before applauding - but the first one was just so cute, Grandma couldn't help herself. She was embarrassed, but she wasn't the only one who clapped!

Note from Angela

A member of my former CTR 8 class stopped by today with this cute note. Kids say it the best, don't you think?
