My Big Helper, Bo

I started peeling apples for apple crisp one Sunday night and as soon as Bo saw what was going on - he wanted to help! He sticks with a job! He was there until the end and we made two batches! You can tell he's got a little of his Grandpa Jack in him...check out the tongue!

Dad and Sibling Activity in SLC

Elaine got us tickets for the Bells at Temple Square concert at the tabernacle. We ate at the Lion House Pantry first, then walked across the street for the concert. It was another fun activity for all of us - especially Dad. He loves having his family together!

Another Piano Recital

Went to Jace and Jenna's recital. Their other grandma is their teacher. They both did such a great job!

North Ogden School

It was kind of fun, yet kind of sad to watch the day by day demolition of the old North Ogden Elementary. All eight of our kids went there, as well as our Navajo foster daughter, Clarissa. The school was very old - not quite sure now old - but it was time for a new one.
Tearing down the old school and ripping up the south parking lot! About all that's left of the building is the cafeteria on the east end.
Here's the old cafeteria area and what's left of one classroom. I like how you can see the old chalk board and bulletine board still hanging on the north wall.
Nothing left but a pile of rubble!
All of the above, to make way for a brand spanking new and beautiful North Ogden Elementary! Pretty nice!

Thailand's Loi Krathong Festival

It's been fun learning more about Krystal and her country of Thailand. She brought the little raft that she made and floated in a pond at temple. In Thailand, the rafts are floated down a river by the palace. They have candles on them. If your candles stay lit until your raft is out of sight - then the wishes you have made will come true.

Why I Love to Live Where I Live!

It's election day! As I drove home from the polling place, I noticed Ben Lomond. I took several shots, from several locations. I liked this one best!
