North Ogden School
It was kind of fun, yet kind of sad to watch the day by day demolition of the old North Ogden Elementary. All eight of our kids went there, as well as our Navajo foster daughter, Clarissa. The school was very old - not quite sure now old - but it was time for a new one.
Tearing down the old school and ripping up the south parking lot! About all that's left of the building is the cafeteria on the east end.
Here's the old cafeteria area and what's left of one classroom. I like how you can see the old chalk board and bulletine board still hanging on the north wall.
Nothing left but a pile of rubble!
All of the above, to make way for a brand spanking new and beautiful North Ogden Elementary! Pretty nice!

Thailand's Loi Krathong Festival
It's been fun learning more about Krystal and her country of Thailand. She brought the little raft that she made and floated in a pond at temple. In Thailand, the rafts are floated down a river by the palace. They have candles on them. If your candles stay lit until your raft is out of sight - then the wishes you have made will come true.
